It's Monday, and I am dreading being at work today. I just want a month-long weekend.

This has nothing to do with this blog, it's just something that has been on my mind lately: I'm so tired of every little fucktard pre-teen/wannabe know-it-all/fashion designer-wannabe/ critic attacking me and attacking my stuff. Really? Their expertise is....what exactly? Why do so many blog readers and commenters feel compelled to leave some snarky insult? Yeah, I get it. They feel gutsy with their annonymity that the internet provides and would never have the balls in real life to come up to me and say it to my face. 

It must also make them feel really good about themselves to rip apart someone else's hard work. It's jealousy perhaps and a combination of all of the above. It's just annoying as hell. And as much as I constantly remind myself of the mind-state of these people and their deranged satisfaction in this, the constant ripping on me gets to me even if it's only a fraction out of many positive comments. 

It gets to me a lot, as much as I hate to admit. I know it's just one of the things that comes as a consequence of having your work widely recognized. Sometimes it makes me want to run away and hide and try to be anonymous again.

I just hope these people get their karma back triple-fold someday, if they ever so (unlikely) happen to make it big in the future, too.
